What are the training and playing schedules for AFL Masters?
For information on AFL Masters' seasons and groups, please visit the About Masters page. The winter season runs from late March to October, with matches taking place every second Sunday at different venues. Training is held every Wednesday, and details can be found on the homepage.

A National AFL Masters Carnival is held in a different Australian location at the end of each season.

​Are you affiliated with the AFL at a National Level?
ACT AFL Master football is connected with AFL Masters Australian Football (AFLM) at the national level and operates under the National AFL Commission. You can find more information on the official AFL Masters website.

Do you have a code of conduct?
ACT AFL Master Club operates under the National AFL AFL Masters Code of Conduct.

Do I have to register to play?
Registration with our Club is mandatory before playing. Although you can attend training sessions or watch a match without registration. Registering protects everyone involved.

Does the club play in a league?
No. There are several AFL Masters groups in the ACT, but only one of them (Heart, Mind & Soul (35+) group) has a limited competition. You can find more information about these groups on the "About Masters" page. During the season, the teams usually play intraclub matches and games against other regional teams.

Can I play in the National AFL Masters Carnival?
You can participate in the carnival as a part of a stand-alone team if you are over 35 years old. However, there are age restrictions in place. If the team from your age bracket is not submitted by ACT and the AFL Masters National body does not make an exception for you to play in the submitted team, you can join other state's teams in that bracket.

What about Insurance?
Each player is responsible for their own insurance and ambulance costs as ACT Masters Football does not provide them.

ACT Masters Football is open to players of all skill levels, even those who have never competed before. Additionally, individuals who have
experience in other sports are encouraged to join.
